AP: Our 5th Shoot

In our 5th shoot we chose to film it at my house. We chose the lounge as this had a couple of items that we worthy to us. This included a taxidermy puffin.

As we were aware in Psycho (Hitchcock, 1960) that there was use of taxidermy birds. We plan to film later in our next shoot using taxidermy owls.

We situated Gaga in a leather bucket chair as this felt best de to the use of leather in a lot of her videos, we like a bucked shape as it would be easy to manoeuvre but also good for gaga to position herself.

AP: VidEG Genre13 Born This Way - Lady Gaga

Born This Way was lady gagas song to show the world that she was famous but could put it to good use by using the song lyrics from born this way to voice her opinions to show that it doesnt matter who you are, what colour your skin is, who you love it is irrelevant so embrace it as 'you were born this way'. In this way as is clear from our audience research she has recieved a lot of fans from around the world but also attract many gay, bi, and transexual fans. It is argued that Gaga feels that she owes it to these people as it is them who got her career first off the ground when she started singing in gay clubs.

AP: Lady Gaga - Our Influences - Depeche Mode - Heaven

Within this video there is heavy use of a woman in a mask, this is something we would like to take some inspiration from as in Bad Romance Lady Gaga can be seen wearing a mask. Although we can't copy the style of that mask, what we can take is the idea from this instead as the idea behind it is a lot more subtle.

I really like the effect in this one.

The close up in this is really effective, I also like the mask used. 

Although not of the mask itself the cloak adds another dimension.

Plain and simple but highly effective.

Idea 2

Inspired by the events of creative arts evening, we have decided to include Mr Sharpe and his fire juggling in the video we are making.

The plan is to present it as a surprise party for Brodie's character, who will be lead there by Charlie, with Gaga covering his eyes, he can then enjoy the specatular display from Mr Sharpe (and hopefully some cake).

We intend to film this on the front lawn of school, where it will be easy to frame the shots to exclude the school and make it feel like a back garden

AP: Lady Gaga - Product Placement

We were aware of Lady Gaga taking part in some product placement within her videos, because in Bad Romance we were aware of Beats, Nemiroff Vodka and Carrera sunglasses. However I came across a website which claimed Lady Gaga uses 8 different products within Bad Romance. However we struggled to find the last one!
